Apartments Profaca – everything you need for a perfect vacation

We are located in Banjol, in a peaceful natural environment, only ten minutes from the center of Rab.

We offer apartments for 4+3 and 2+2 people, only 200m from the sea and 600m from the center. A grocery store is only 200m away, and the nearest restaurant is 200m away.

The microlocation of the apartment is suitable for cyclists and for walking along the sea.

The apartments are air-conditioned (cooling and heating), and have access to the Internet (HotSpot). Also, the apartments are equipped with a receiver for monitoring SAT/TV programs, and a coffee machine.

Our dear guests have at their disposal an outdoor grill for preparing fish and meat dishes, and there is a parking lot in front of the building itself. A washing machine is also available. Pets are allowed for an additional fee.

This spacious apartment consists of 1 living room, 2 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a shower and free toiletries.
In the kitchen, guests will find a stove, refrigerator, dishwasher and dishes. The apartment also has a barbecue. This air-conditioned apartment includes a dining area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a private entrance and a terrace.

This air-conditioned apartment has a private entrance, 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom and 2 bathrooms with a shower and a hairdryer. Guests will find a stove, refrigerator, dishes and a microwave in the fully equipped kitchen. The apartment also has a barbecue. This apartment has a coffee machine, a seating area, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels and a terrace.

About Rab

The name “Rab” was mentioned for the first time in 1446, in the document on the foundation of the Franciscan monastery of St. Euphemia in Kampor.

The root of the name comes from the Illyrian Arb, (dark, green, wooded), and transposed into the ancient names Arba, Arva, Arbia mentioned by the cosmographers of the time.

The island of Rab is a real pleasure for lovers of history and cultural heritage. For example, if you take a walk through the old city streets, along with many buildings built in the Romanesque style, you can see a handful of Gothic portals, Baroque altars, and Renaissance windows with ornaments.

Although unique in many ways, the island of Rab can also boast of its four bell towers, for which it is widely known. It is precisely for this reason that it is often referred to in jargon as “the city of four bell towers”. The bell tower of the basilica dominates the city and is one of the most beautiful late Romanesque buildings in our area.

The remaining seven idyllic places are located in different corners of the island: Barbat, Banjol, Palit, Kampor, Mundanije, Supetarska Draga and Lopar. There live approx. 9000 inhabitants, who live mainly from: agriculture, fishing, shipbuilding and tourism. Our tradition of organized tourism is already 112 years old.

The vegetation on the island is lush, and apart from the autochthonous holm oak, the island of Rab is covered with evergreen forests. The hilly belt of Kamenjak protects from cold winds, so a very pleasant Mediterranean climate prevails there, with over 2,600 hours of sunshine a year.
